Welcome to Wildsight Invermere’s 8th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival! Tonight’s program features our selection of 10 films that we hope you’ll find both heart-warming and galvanizing. The line-up is listed below.
Many thanks to the team at the flagship festival in California for keeping the festival alive for 18 years. It’s call to action —
Where Activism Gets Inspired — continues to motivate us here in the upper Columbia Valley in southeast British Columbia. The festival is a natural extension of Wildsight Invermere’s mission to inspire people to become aware of environmental issues and
have meaningful discussion about the challenges we face in balancing the interests of industry, recreation, natural resources and wild spaces.
Since this event is our annual fundraiser, we appreciate your donations. The buttons on the right will direct you to our Wildsight Invermere pages.
*** Remember that you’ll be able to give us your feedback through our People’s Choice ballot (that gives you an extra chance to win a special draw prize). This year, we have also have a new opportunity to win a prize with our Film Quiz. If you can answer these skill-testing questions, there’s a chance to win a gift certificate from the Outdoor Learning Store! Info for both are in the email you received.
