Thank you for joining us for Southeast Land Trust’s VIRTUAL Wild & Scenic Film Festival!
Southeast Land Trust (SELT) is a nonprofit land trust that works to conserve and steward lands for the benefit of people and nature in New Hampshire. Our mission is to protect and sustain the significant lands in our communities for clean water, outdoor recreation, fresh food, wildlife, and healthy forests. Since 1980, SELT has worked in 52 communities of southeastern New Hampshire to conserve more than 22,000 acres of land through conservation agreements and ownerships, including nature preserves, hiking trails, farmland, and scenic vistas. Our vision is to have conserved lands in every community, sustaining people and nature.
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival celebrates the beauty and wonder of our natural world and inspires audiences everywhere to take action to protect it. SELT’s volunteer film committee has hand-picked a program from the award-winning films curated by the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) and national Wild & Scenic Film Festival. The Wild & Scenic Film Festival was started by the SYRCL in 2003. The festival’s namesake is in celebration of SYRCL’s landmark victory to receive “Wild & Scenic” status for 39 miles of the South Yuba River in 1999.
The virtual event takes place on Friday, April 16, 2021, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The Virtual Lobby will be open at 6:30 pm.
After the virtual event, registrants will be able to view the entire program on demand, which will be available from 12:00 am, April 17 to 12:00 am, April 23.
